Our Story

Founded by Ron Maurice in 2002, our firm has a rich history of championing the rights of First Nations communities. Ron's passion for achieving settlement for the grievances of First Nations in Canada drove him to establish Maurice Law, which has since grown to become a leading national law firm. Our early years were marked by innovation and perseverance, as we worked to secure access to justice for our clients by developing an insurance and financing program for claims being pursued through Canada's Specific Claims Process.
