The Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation (CUDGC) is a Provincial Crown Corporation responsible for insuring deposits of Credit Union Members and Associate Members in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Corporation administers various credit union insurance programs and is responsible for the administration of the Credit Union Act and Regulations, ensuring compliance with the Act and Regulations by credit unions. With a mission to stabilize the credit union system, the Corporation provides support through supervision, training, and risk management activities. The credit union system in Newfoundland and Labrador is comprised of 6 credit unions with offices in 36 locations, approximately 61,000 members, and assets in excess of $1.5 billion dollars.

Community Credit Union offers a wide range of financial services, including chequing and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, mortgages, and investments, as well as electronic services like online banking and direct alerts, to the communities of Marystown, Hermitage, and Witless Bay.
