Empowering you to overcome challenges and build resilience.

My name is Dr. Ulrike (Rike) Koechling, and I am a registered psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups in Sidney and Victoria. I am dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to help you achieve lasting positive changes in your life.

Understanding your journey

Life can be filled with challenges, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious. Perhaps you struggle with persistent pain, anxiety, depression, or a challenging relationship. Maybe you feel stuck and unsure how to move forward. I believe everyone has the potential to grow, learn, and overcome obstacles. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your concerns, understand your strengths, and develop the tools you need to thrive.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you identify and manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We will work together to:

  • Gain insight into your challenges and developing coping mechanisms.
  • Learn strategies for managing anxiety, stress, and depression.
  • Develop better communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Build resilience and cope with pain and trauma.
  • Achieve your personal and professional goals.

Personalized and compassionate care

I believe in a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, tailoring my sessions to your unique needs, challenges, and preferences. I will work alongside you, providing unconditional positive regard and support. My priority is to create a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers you to grow and learn.
