Our story began in 1919 when Henry Purvey opened his first restaurant on Dundas Street in Toronto. After serving in World War II, Jeff Purvey joined his father and together they expanded into three locations across Toronto. In 1956, Jeff moved to Peterborough and opened our current location on Rubidge Street, which has since become a beloved institution in the community. Over the years, our restaurant has grown and evolved, but our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has remained unwavering.

Today, we're proud to offer a wide range of mouth-watering dishes that cater to all tastes and dietary preferences.
