Transforming Lives, One Neural Network at a Time

At Canadian Family Health Counselling, we believe in the transformative power of neuroscience and counselling. We are on a mission to revolutionize therapy, moving away from traditional talk therapy towards a more dynamic and engaging approach. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that behavioural change doesn't have to be monotonous or painful; instead, it can be a creative and enjoyable experience that leads to lasting improvements.

Neural Network Therapy (NNT) is the cornerstone of our services. Emerging in 1997 in response to advancements in neuroscience, NNT is an alternative to traditional talk therapy that focuses on brain health as the starting point for emotional health recovery. We know now that the brain cannot distinguish between real or imagined experiences, and by continuing to talk about old stories, we risk reinforcing unwanted thoughts and behaviours. NNT sidesteps this issue by creating shortcuts to feel-good emotions and healthy habits, fostering creativity and generating changes in thought and behaviour.
