Welcome to the Wilmot Wolverines Girls Hockey Association, a proud member of the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) and a leader in girls' hockey in Wilmot, Ontario. Our organization is dedicated to providing a positive and supportive environment for girls to develop their hockey skills, build lasting friendships, and grow as individuals.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment for girls to play hockey, while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play. We strive to develop our players' skills, confidence, and leadership abilities, both on and off the ice.
Our Services
We offer a range of programs and services to support our players, coaches, and volunteers. These include:
- Competitive and recreational hockey programs for girls of all ages and skill levels
- Coaching and training programs for our coaches and volunteers
- Leadership development opportunities for our players and volunteers
- Resources and support for our teams, including team staff, trainers, and officials
- A comprehensive website and communication system to keep our members informed and connected
Our Teams
We have a range of teams for girls of all ages and skill levels, from U7 (Initiation) to U18 and Senior. Our teams compete in the Ontario Women's Hockey League (OWHL), the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League (WOGHL), and the Kitchener Girls Local League (KGLL).
