At SIGIS Child Care Society, we are dedicated to creating an environment that partners families and educators together to support the inclusion of all children. Our mission is to foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that inspires children and educators to reach their full potential. We believe that by building strong relationships between our educators and children, we can provide a curriculum that enables each child to develop new skills and prepare for the future.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is centered around the idea that children learn and grow best when they are having fun. We believe that learning and fun go hand in hand, and that by providing a variety of engaging activities and experiences, we can help children develop new skills and reach their full potential. Our educators are committed to professional growth and are reflective on their own growth as a Society. We continuously strive to improve in all we do, embracing the opportunity to learn and grow.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support the development of children from 0-12 years old. Our daycare programs provide a curriculum-focused environment that encourages learning and exploration, while our Out of School Care programs offer project-based activities and STEM programming. We also offer additional programs such as Music Mondays and themed activity days in the summer, which are designed to enrich our children's lives and provide them with a sense of community and character.

Convenient Locations

We have 2 daycare locations and 20 Out of School Care locations within St. Albert, all of which are located within schools. This provides parents with convenient options for their child's care and education. As a non-profit organization, all profits go back into enhancing our programs, curriculums, and facilities, as well as providing our educators with professional wages, paid benefits, and an RRSP program.

Building Community and Character

Our educators plan additional experiences in the community to broaden our children's knowledge of the world around them. We believe that social interaction, physical activities, and off-site special events are an essential part of a child's development. By providing these experiences, we can help children build community and character, and develop a sense of empathy and understanding for others.

Our Locations

All our facilities are located in St. Albert, The Botanical Arts City. This is where our roots began, and we are continuing to grow. Currently, our locations are making an impact on the lives of families all across our community. Our parents have testified to the positive impact that SIGIS has had on their children's lives, and we are proud to be a part of their journey.
