Transform Your Business with Exceptional Signage
At Brian Wrench M. Ed. Psychologist, our mission is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for individuals and couples to explore and overcome their challenges. With over 25 years of experience as a therapist, Brian Wrench has worked with hundreds of individuals, helping them navigate through various difficulties and challenges, including depression, anxiety, anger issues, relationship problems, and many more.
Our Services
Our practice offers individual and group supervision, private practice therapy sessions for individuals and couples, as well as tele-therapy services. We take a holistic approach to therapy, using an analytical or "insight-based" approach to help clients understand themselves better and equip them to deal with their issues. This may involve exploring deep-seated conflicts and self-defeating patterns of thought, feeling, or behaviour, and looking at how the past can continue to have an effect in the present. We also offer cognitive and behavioural shorter-term work with specific objectives to overcome particular difficulties.
Our Approach
Our approach is centered around building a trusting relationship with our clients. We believe that human presence is an important part of the therapy process, and we emphasize the importance of meeting in person to "refresh" that connection. We use various therapeutic techniques, including analytical and cognitive-behavioural approaches, to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to develop more positive and adaptive ways of perceiving and acting.
Our Training and Experience
Brian Wrench has a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and has completed post-graduate programs in Marital and Family Therapy and Individual Psychotherapy from the Argyle Institute of Human Relations. He is a clinical member of the Ordre des psychologues du Quebec and has been a supervisor and private practitioner since 1997.
Tele-therapy
We understand that sometimes circumstances may prevent individuals from attending in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer tele-therapy services using video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype. While we believe that human presence is an important part of the therapy process, we also recognize the benefits of tele-therapy in continuing the work when one of us is away from the city or when other commitments don't permit regular in-person attendance.
