Our Story

With years of experience in designing and building custom furniture, teaching, and leather craftsmanship, Mike Daigle embarked on a new journey as a pedorthist. He trained with Thera-Ped Foot & Ankle Clinic in Saint John and later launched Maritime Foothold Orthotics in Nova Scotia. Mike's unique blend of technical skills and clinical expertise has enabled him to create custom foot orthoses, shoe modifications, and footwear solutions that cater to a wide range of needs.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including custom foot orthoses, shoe modifications, and footwear advice. Our custom foot orthoses are designed to alleviate pain and discomfort caused by various medical conditions, such as plantar fasciitis, hammer toes, heel spur syndrome, and more. We also provide orthopaedic shoe modifications, including rocker soles, shoe lifts, lateral and medial wedges, and Velcro closures. Our team works closely with each client to understand their specific needs and provide personalized solutions to address their foot health concerns.
