So I called and emailed the manufacturer as well as the shop the next day and to my surprise, both were quick to respond. The manufacturer was willing to send the side piece for the mantel (if I needed it) and suggested I contact the store to correct the wrong size insert. After a couple of emails back and forth, Terry actually drove out of the city on the weekend to come to our home and replace the fireplace portion with the right one.

He also repaired the mantel portion that did not line up. Pure awesome! The end result: Fireplace looks great in the bedroom and we're more than satisfied with the end product. Service at it's best which is rare these days. Thx Brad, Pauline and Terry. Definitely would recommend this shop if you're looking to keep warm this winter.
