Our History

Johnston Montgomery Watson was founded by Patrick Johnston, a seasoned and experienced practitioner who dedicated his career to providing legal services in the Durham Region for almost 50 years until his retirement in December 2020. Pat was joined by his partner John Montgomery in 1995, and together they built the practice into one of the most trusted law offices in the region. Erin Watson joined the firm in 2012, and following Pat's retirement, John and Erin continue the tradition of integrity, service, and experience that is the hallmark of their practices.
