Our Story
Dereck, born and raised on a family farm near Canora, Saskatchewan, found his passion for funeral service early in life. He graduated from the Saskatchewan Funeral Service Association education program in 1998 and went on to work for a funeral home in Kamsack. When the funeral home was sold to a corporation, Dereck took over as manager and was awarded the prestigious President's Award for exceeding families' expectations and community involvement. In 2010, he ventured out and opened his own funeral home in Kamsack, making it the only locally owned funeral home in the area.
