Empowering Children to Reach Their Full Potential

Oaks & Acorns Montessori is a unique and exceptional child development center that provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children from 13 months to 6 years of age. Our school is guided by the principles and philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, a pioneer in early childhood education. We believe that children are naturally curious and eager to learn, and our carefully designed curriculum is tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.

Mission and Philosophy

As a Montessori school, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters the full potential of each child. Our programs are designed to promote self-directed learning, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Reviews

Negative: On the other hand, reviewers have expressed concerns about administrative issues, teacher and staff quality, food and nutrition, building and amenities, and pricing and value.

Administrative Issues

Some reviewers have expressed concerns about the administrative practices at Oaks and Acorn Midnapore. Jo, a reviewer who gave the daycare a 1-star rating, stated that the owner is unresponsive to parent concerns and that management is a problem. Jo also alleged that the daycare takes 1st and last month's fees upfront, has a strict 2-month notice period for termination, and has a 3% cap on annual price increases.

Teacher and Staff

Multiple reviewers have shared their experiences with the teachers and staff at the daycare. Jo mentioned that the care-takers are "hit and miss" and that one staff member had a poor attitude towards parents. J.S., a 3-star reviewer, stated that the staff is "hit and miss" and that the ones who are not permanent positions seem to try harder.

Food and Nutrition

Reviewers have mentioned the quality of the food provided by the daycare. Natalia Toma, a 5-star reviewer, praised the healthy and nutritious food. J.S., however, mentioned that the food is "institution grade" and has a high sugar content.

Building and Amenities

The daycare's building and amenities have also been discussed. J.S. noted that the building is old and falling apart, with issues such as hot summers and a lack of proper air conditioning. Natalia Toma did not mention any issues with the building or amenities, but praised the "nice yard to play outside".

Pricing and Value

Several reviewers have commented on the pricing of the daycare. J.S. felt that the daycare does not provide good value for the money paid, citing lack of services and corner-cutting. Jo mentioned that the daycare takes expensive fees and does not deliver the standard and services that it should.
