The Course
Our parkland-style golf course is a wonderful example of what golfing in Victoria is all about. With its varying vistas and minimal change in elevation, our course is both enjoyable and challenging for golfers of all skill levels. According to the Guinness Book of Records, Arthur Thompson shot his age (103) on our course in 1973, a testament to the playability and accessibility of our course.

UVic Vikes Golf Teams
For the past 15 years and counting, Uplands Golf Club has had the privilege of serving as the host golf club for the University of Victoria Men's and Women's Golf Programmes. This partnership has allowed elite amateur golfers to attend UVic as student-athletes and further develop their golf abilities by practicing and playing at a prestigious golf facility such as Uplands Golf Club.
Our members take great pride in being able to support up-and-coming golfers, and we are committed to providing them with the best possible facilities and resources. In return, the UVic golf teams help pick the driving range twice a week throughout the school year and are involved in various junior tournaments and clinics, including the Thrifty's Junior Clinics as part of the BPIS Open event.
Fundraising
Uplands Golf Club annually hosts the UVic Golf Classic Tournament every August. This tournament raises significant funds to help the UVic golf teams travel and compete in various tournaments within the NAIA. By participating in these events, UVic student-athletes have the opportunity to play at the most competitive level in collegiate golf, while representing Canada and Uplands Golf Club in Victoria, B.C.
