Recyclistas is the heart of Greater Victoria's cycling community. Established in 2003, we're a non-profit bike shop, recycling depot, and educational hub dedicated to fostering a sustainable and vibrant cycling culture.
Our Mission
Our mission is to:
- Encourage more people to ride bicycles by building and selling affordable, high-quality bikes.
- Teach people how to fix their own bikes by holding regular bike repair classes where they are provided with space, materials, and tools.
- Divert waste from the landfill by accepting used bicycles and parts as donations and re-building and selling reconditioned bikes.
- Create a community for cycling enthusiasts by planning and hosting workshops, special events, and community celebrations.

- Repairs & Maintenance: Expert repairs for all types of bikes, including tune-ups, brake and drivetrain adjustments, wheel building, and more.
- New & Used Parts & Accessories: A wide selection of new and used parts and accessories, such as tires, tubes, lights, and helmets.
- Bike Rentals: Rent a bike for a day or explore the city on one of our guided bike tours.
- Bike Sales: We have a curated selection of new and used bikes for sale, perfect for commuting, recreation, or racing.
- Fabrication & Art: We offer custom bike building and repair services, as well as a selection of beautiful and unique bike-inspired art.
