Empowering Community Through Boxing in Vancouver
Eastside Boxing Club was established in 2014 with a mission to improve lives through boxing and mentorship. Our organization traces its roots to the Astoria Boxing Club, which served Vancouver's Downtown Eastside for over 30 years before closing in 2012. Through community support and annual fundraising events like the Restaurant Rumble, we reopened in historic Chinatown at 238 Keefer Street. We specialize in creating inclusive spaces for diverse groups including youth, women, frontline workers, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals.

Our programs combine physical training with personal development, offering free classes to underserved populations. With a team of experienced coaches and a focus on community partnerships, we maintain rigorous safety standards while making boxing accessible to all skill levels. Our facility includes specialized programs for competitive athletes and recreational participants alike, operating from a purpose-built space designed to foster both technical skill development and social connection.
