The Childcare Resource and Research Unit (CRRU) is a unique organization dedicated to promoting the availability and affordability of high-quality early childhood education and child care in Canada. Our mission is to support the development of a comprehensive system of early childhood education and child care that is accessible to all Canadians, regardless of their socio-economic status, cultural background, or geographical location.

History and Context

Established in the 1980s, CRRU has a long history of working with governments, advocacy groups, researchers, and service providers to advance our knowledge of early childhood education and child care.
