Who We Are

The Toronto Community for Better Child Care (TCBCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a comprehensive, high-quality, and universally accessible child care system in the Greater Toronto Area. We believe every child deserves access to safe, accessible, and enriching early learning experiences.

Our Mission

Together with our diverse membership of early learning and childcare centres, community groups, and individuals, we advocate for:

• Accessibility: Universal access to affordable childcare for all families.
• Quality: Strengthening the quality of care through better training, resources, and policies.
• Sustainability: Building a long-term, publicly funded childcare system that meets the evolving needs of our community.

What We Do

Our work is focused on:

1. Advocacy & Policy Change

• Raising public awareness about the importance of high-quality childcare.
• Advocating for policy changes that promote accessibility and affordability.
• Engaging in consultations and providing feedback on childcare-related initiatives.

2. Community Building & Support

• Connecting families with resources and support networks.
