Barrie Kempettes Gymnastics Club is a non-profit, parent-run organization that has been a part of the Barrie community since 1965! We offer a variety of programs for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels, including pre-school programs, recreational programs, team programs, and camps. Our NCCP-certified coaching staff provides training in strength, flexibility, endurance, and technique, aiming to develop fundamental skills that can be applied to all levels of gymnastics. With a focus on physical fitness, self-expression, and community involvement, we strive to provide a high-quality gymnastics experience for our members.

The Mariposa School of Skating is a full-service training centre that offers top-level instruction for every age and level of skater. Our internationally renowned school is the destination for skaters looking to improve their skating. We have collected over $1 million for charity and have produced numerous national champions, Olympic medalists, and World Champions from around the world. Our programs include Learn to Skate, Figure Skating, Power Skating, and Hockey Skating, among others. We also offer world-class training facilities, including an Olympic-sized ice pad, fitness room, ballet studio, and pool for recovery programs. Skaters of all ages and levels are welcome to train with us, from local to elite competitive figure skating programs. The school has been in operation since 1973 and has a rich history of producing successful skaters. Our coaching team consists of highly qualified instructors who are dedicated to helping skaters achieve their goals.

The Barrie Women's Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services for women's hockey in Barrie, Ontario. From competitive development programs to recreational house league teams, BWHA offers opportunities for women of all ages and skill levels to participate in the sport. In addition to its programming, BWHA provides resources and support for coaches and teams, and also hosts various events and tournaments throughout the year. With a focus on empowering women in hockey, BWHA is a leader in promoting the growth and development of women's hockey in the community.
