The Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society is an organization of men and women who help Mission Memorial Hospital provide non-medical services and comforts to patients. With over 100 dedicated volunteers, the auxiliary contributes their time to provide non-medical services and comforts to patients at Mission Memorial Hospital and raise funds for medical equipment. The organization has been serving Mission since 1920 and has a strong reputation for raising funds for health care needs in the community. In addition, the auxiliary operates The Cottage Thrift Store, located at 33228 First Avenue, which raises funds for various projects, including equipment for the hospital and improving patient care in the community. The group relies on donations from the public to stock the shelves at The Cottage and volunteers staff the thrift store.
