At the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club, we are a non-profit sports organization dedicated to promoting, developing, and organizing the game of tennis in Winnipeg. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels to play, learn, and socialize.

Our Facilities

Our beautiful facility features 11 newly resurfaced Plexipave hard courts, set amidst the picturesque surroundings of the Red River in Wildwood. With professional lighting for evening play, our courts are available for members to use throughout the week.

Programs and Services

We offer a range of programs and services to cater to players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player seeking to improve your game, we have programs and services to help you achieve your goals.

• Lessons: Our Tennis Pro offers lessons for players of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our experienced instructors will help you improve your game and reach your full potential.
• Leagues and Clinics: Join one of our many leagues and clinics, designed for players of all skill levels. From social doubles to competitive tournaments, we have something for everyone.
• Camps and Programs: Our summer camps and programs are designed for juniors and adults alike, providing a fun and relaxed environment to learn and improve your game.
• Membership: Our membership program offers a range of benefits, including no court fees, regular social events, and tennis balls provided for play on each court.

Our Team

Our team is led by our Tennis Professional, Roland Burrell, who brings over 23 years of tennis instruction and program development experience. Our Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the success of our organization.

Our History

The Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club has a rich history dating back to the summer of 1881, when a group of prominent Winnipeg gentlemen and their ladies first gathered to play the new sport of lawn tennis. Today, we are proud to continue this legacy, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels to play, learn, and socialize.
