Tuxedo Tennis Club

Tuxedo Tennis Club is a friendly, inclusive tennis club located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our mission is to promote fitness, camaraderie, and the sport of tennis for everyone. We are a non-profit organization that strives to provide a welcoming environment for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.

Our Facilities

Our club boasts six hard courts, including two with lighting for night play. We also have a licensed clubhouse, patio, and social events, making it the perfect place to relax and socialize with fellow tennis enthusiasts.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs for all ages and skill levels, including children's programs, adult recreational programs, and high-performance programs. Our programs are designed to cater to different needs and preferences, ensuring that every member has a great experience.

Lessons

Private lessons are available from our onsite teaching pro, catering to both recreational and high-performance players, children and adults. Our teaching pro is dedicated to helping players of all levels improve their game.

History

Tuxedo Tennis Club has a rich history dating back to 1972. Over the years, we have undergone several renovations and expansions, including the addition of the clubhouse building in 2008. We have also invested heavily in resurfacing our courts and upgrading our facilities to ensure a pleasant experience for our members.

Community Involvement

We are proud to be an integral part of the Winnipeg community. In recent years, we have received funding through the City of Winnipeg Community Incentive Grant and the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. We are committed to giving back to the community through outreach programs and charity events.

Improvements

We are constantly striving to improve our facilities and services. Recent improvements include the addition of LED lighting on Courts 1 and 2, resurfacing of all six courts, and the construction of a new hitting wall and practice half-court. We are also planning to create a mural on the north face of the hitting wall, in partnership with Take Pride Winnipeg.

Membership

We offer a range of membership options to suit different needs and preferences. Our membership fees are reasonable and provide access to our facilities, programs, and services. We also offer guest access for our members and may consider sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations.
