Dublin Heights Community Child Care is a not-for-profit childcare centre located in North York, proudly serving the Clanton Park community since 1986. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable childcare to children from 18 months to 12 years old through our toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and school-age programs.
Our Philosophy
At Dublin Heights, we believe that every child is capable and full of potential. Our programs are designed to nurture children's natural curiosity and creativity through emergent curriculum, which means that our programs are directed by the unique interests of each child. This approach creates an environment where children are eager to engage and explore. Our experienced and educated staff provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can grow and develop.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of children from 18 months to 12 years old. Our programs are designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our toddler program is designed for children aged 18 months to 2.5 years old, while our preschool program caters to children from 2.5 to 5 years old. Our kindergarten program is designed for children from 4 to 6 years old, and our school-age program is designed for children aged 6 to 12 years old.
Staff
Our educators are all trained professionals in the early childhood field and are in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years, and we take pride in our staff's commitment to ongoing professional development. Our educators are certified in first aid and CPR-C AED and are required to undergo regular recertification.
Nutrition
We partner with Wholesome Kids Catering to provide nutritious meals for our toddlers and preschoolers. Our meals are planned in accordance with CCEYA and Canada Food Guide standards. We cater to children's dietary needs and offer menu substitutions for children with allergies and dietary restrictions. You can view our current menu online.
Accessibility
We are committed to accessibility and inclusivity. Our Centre is wheelchair accessible, and we have a dedicated space for children who require additional support. We also offer accommodations for children with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
