At Heron Rock Bistro, we're proud to be a part of the vibrant James Bay community in Victoria, British Columbia. Our story began in 2005 when our founders, Andrew Moffatt and Ben Peterson, set out to create a welcoming spot where locals could gather to enjoy delicious food made with only the freshest ingredients. Over the years, we've been honored to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the community, as well as host live music events and live performances on our stage.
Our Team
Our team is led by Andrew Moffatt, the co-founder and owner/operator of Heron Rock Bistro. Andrew brings a passion for the food industry to every aspect of the restaurant, from sourcing local ingredients to creating menus that showcase the best of what BC has to offer. Our head chef, Chris Swan, has been an integral part of the restaurant since its early days, working his way up from dishwasher to chef de cuisine. Chris is dedicated to crafting menus that not only taste amazing but also support local farmers and suppliers.
Our Services
At Heron Rock Bistro, we offer a wide range of services to make your dining experience unforgettable. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, with daily features and specials to keep things fresh and exciting. We also offer live music events on Monday and Saturday nights, featuring some of the best local talent on Vancouver Island. And, with our Happy Hour program, you can enjoy great deals on select drinks and appetizers every day from 3-5 pm and 8 pm-close.
Delivery and Take-Out
For your convenience, we offer delivery and take-out options through our partnership with Skip The Dishes. Simply download the app, order your favorite dishes, and we'll deliver them right to your doorstep. We also offer a variety of catering services for special events and functions, so be sure to contact us for more information.
GROCERY DELIVERY
We're excited to announce our new partnership with local businesses Market on Yates, Market on Millstream, and Finest at Sea to bring you the freshest ingredients right to your doorstep. With our Grocery Delivery service, you can choose from a selection of artisanal foods, meats, and seafood to create your own customized grocery basket. Order in advance and we'll deliver your selection right to your door.
