Yoga Therapy: A Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual Approach to Health & Healing

Our yoga therapy programs combine the traditional wisdom and mental health benefits of yoga with a modern understanding of anatomy, physiology, neurology, and trauma theory. We offer a Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual approach to healing and wellbeing, providing an opportunity for individuals to engage in practices that align intention with action and harness the incredible healing potential of the body and mind. Our yoga therapy programs are specifically designed for those with injuries, pain, physical limitations, or health conditions, allowing them to enjoy the health benefits of yoga without worrying about aggravating or increasing pain symptoms.

Pain & Injury Care

At Centered Within Yoga, we believe that breathwork, mindfulness, and anatomical understanding combine with myofascial release, decompression, and gentle long hold stretches to educate, elevate, and inspire. Our pain and injury care services offer an alternative approach to traditional pain management methods, providing individuals with the tools and resources they need to manage their pain and injuries effectively. Our classes are limited in size, allowing for individual attention and customization based on each person's unique needs and abilities.

Mental & Emotional Health

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling alone, hopeless, and powerless to make the changes needed to get us back on track. At Centered Within Yoga, we believe that suffering is a shared human experience, and we offer a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions and navigate their mental health challenges. Our mental and emotional health services offer a range of therapeutic practices, including breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation, to support individuals in managing stress, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, depression, dissociation, and grief.

Our selection of live classes, both online and in-person, as well as our extensive video library, bring accessibility to your practice wherever you live.

Virtual Classes & Events

We understand that life can be chaotic and busy, which is why we offer virtual yoga classes online via Zoom. Our virtual schedule offers a variety of classes every week, allowing you to connect with our community from the comfort of your own home. In addition to our virtual classes, we offer a Yoga on Demand Video Library, which provides unlimited access to a large selection of classes and therapeutic topics. Our video library also offers a private group forum where you can ask questions specific to your body and needs.

In-Person Events & Classes

For those who prefer an in-person experience, we offer a range of events and classes in Maple Ridge, BC. Our in-person classes are designed to connect you with our community and provide a supportive and nurturing space for personal growth and empowerment. Our events include workshops, retreats, and community outreach classes.
