Who We Are

Welcome to K.I.D.S. Inc., a welcoming community-based early learning and child care program. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow. Our story began in 1987, when parents from Montrose School identified a need for before and after school child care. Since then, we have grown and evolved to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Our Philosophy

At K.I.D.S. Inc., we believe that each child is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and learning style. We believe that children learn best through exploration, discovery, and play, and that our role is to facilitate and support this learning process. We believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and diverse environment where children can express themselves freely and explore their creativity.

Our Services

Our programs are designed to foster a sense of community and belonging among children, educators, and families. We offer a range of services, including infant, preschool, and school-age programs, as well as extended day programs for our oldest school-age children. Our programs are designed to be inclusive, responsive to the needs of each child, and tailored to promote healthy development, creativity, and self-expression.

We acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 1 territory; the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Dakota, Cree, Oji-Cree, Swampy Cree, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Metis Nation. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and our ongoing efforts to understand the history and culture of the Indigenous people of Turtle Island. We dedicate ourselves to learning and celebrating Indigenous excellence and working towards reconciliation and collaboration.

From our humble beginnings in 1987 to our expansion to Ecole South Pointe School in 2017 and Ecole Sir William Osler School in 2018, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality early learning and child care programs. Our journey has been marked by a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.
