The Child Care Coalition of Manitoba is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a fully accessible, publicly-funded, and high-quality system of child care in Manitoba. Our organization is committed to ensuring that every child in Manitoba has access to affordable, comprehensive, and high-quality child care, regardless of their family's income or circumstances.

Our Mandate

Our mandate is to advocate for a universal child care system that is based on the principles of quality, accessibility, and affordability. We believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. We also believe that parents and families should have access to affordable and reliable child care options that allow them to participate fully in the workforce and contribute to the economic growth of our province.

Our Projects

The Child Care Coalition of Manitoba is currently involved in several projects that are aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of child care in Manitoba. Our projects include:

• The Northern/Rural Project: This project aims to improve access to child care in rural and northern Manitoba by providing education and training programs for early childhood educators and supporting the development of community-based child care initiatives.
