Continuing Professional Education

As an approved Continuing Education Provider with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists, we offer specialized courses and training programs for professional counsellors. Our Trauma-focused courses are designed to equip counsellors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work effectively with clients who have experienced trauma.

Our Story

Bea Rhodes, the founder of Bea Rhodes Counselling, is a certified Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling and Counselling Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in the field. With a Master of Education from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's Degree from Simon Fraser University, Bea has designed and taught numerous Counselling, Coaching, and Wellness courses, and trained instructors. Her extensive experience working in federal and provincial prison systems, college instruction, and contract training has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of human experiences and the importance of compassionate, client-centered approaches.
