We Listen, We Care, We Support
Our Mission
Wellkin Child & Youth Mental Wellness is a supportive and inclusive organization empowering children, youth, and their families facing mental health challenges. We provide accessible, compassionate care, building strength and fostering resilience in the communities of Oxford and Elgin counties.
1. Urgent Access Therapy Services
Responding swiftly to emergencies, we offer direct access to therapists for youth experiencing crises or urgent situations. This vital service ensures timely intervention and support.
2. One Stop Talk
Available online, this free platform provides youth in Ontario with virtual mental health support. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to engage with their children in this resource.
3. Comprehensive Programs & Services
Tailored to diverse needs, our range of programs and services include crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions, family support groups, and school-based interventions.
4. Compassionate Care
We believe in a non-judgmental and supportive environment where individuals can feel safe and respected. Our skilled therapists work collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, develop coping mechanisms, and build resilience.
5. Collaborative Approach
We work in partnership with families, schools, and other community resources to provide holistic care. This ensures that clients receive the appropriate support, both within our programs and beyond.

Negative Feedback
There has been a significant issue with staff consistency, leading to a lack of effective support for students with special needs, particularly ADHD and learning development. The changes in staff have not resulted in any positive outcomes for these students.
