At the Oakville Family Institute, we understand that building a strong and healthy family can be a complex and challenging task. As a registered psychotherapist, I, Andrea Ramsay Speers, work with individuals, couples, and parents of children between the ages of 6-18 to provide the tools and strategies necessary to overcome the many challenges that families face today.

Expert Guidance for a Happy and Healthy Family

As a professional therapist, I have the expertise and experience to help individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of modern family life. From improving communication and conflict resolution to addressing issues of discipline, self-esteem, and mental health, my approach is focused on empowering families to build strong, healthy relationships and to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

Practical Solutions for a Focused Approach

When working with clients, I take a collaborative approach that is centered on providing practical, actionable solutions that can be applied in daily life. I believe that every family is unique, and I work closely with each client to identify their specific needs and goals. By utilizing a proven system of feedback and progress monitoring, we can track the progress of our work together and make adjustments as needed.

About Andrea Ramsay Speers

My passion for working with families began on a trip to Europe in 2001, when I witnessed the impact of tragedy on families and realized the importance of providing support and guidance to those who need it most. I am a registered psychotherapist with a Master's degree in psychotherapy and have been working with families for over two decades. My extensive experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges that families face and the tools and strategies needed to overcome them.
