About CDP Fitness
CDP Fitness was founded by Colleen, a fitness enthusiast and instructor with a passion for making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone. After experiencing injuries from lack of cross-training and discovering the benefits of Pilates, Colleen pursued multiple fitness certifications and launched CDP Fitness. Our virtual fitness studio offers a wide range of classes, including Barre Fusion and Microformer workouts, all of which can be done with or without equipment.
Our Barre Fusion Classes
Our Barre Fusion classes are inspired by Pilates, functional fitness, and ballet, but they are not dance classes. Instead, they focus on small muscle movements that challenge the entire body. These workouts are designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility, and they can be modified to suit any fitness level. By the end of a Barre Fusion class, you will feel stronger and stand taller.
The Microformer Workout
The Microformer is a low-impact, high-intensity workout that challenges your cardio, balance, strength, and endurance. It is suitable for every fitness level and body type, thanks to its adjustable spring tension. Our instructors will guide you through a sequence of exercises that will challenge your whole body, leaving you feeling strong and accomplished.
CDP Fitness Instructor Training
In addition to our virtual fitness classes, CDP Fitness also offers instructor training programs for aspiring fitness professionals. Our eBooks, video courses, and coaching options will teach you the process of entering the fitness industry, how to continue your education, and how to start your virtual career. At CDP Fitness, we believe in empowering our instructors to become the best they can be.
Meet Colleen
Colleen's fascination with fitness began in 2014, after experiencing injuries from lack of cross-training. During her physical therapy, she discovered the benefits of Pilates and was instantly hooked. She pursued multiple fitness certifications and founded CDP Fitness, which focuses on helping clients learn movement that works for their bodies. Colleen has also launched a branch of CDP Fitness specific to fitness instructors, offering resources and support for those looking to become better instructors or launch their own virtual platforms.
Colleen grew up in New England and currently resides in southern California with her husband, son, and fur children. When she's not counting to four (very slowly), she enjoys creating marketing content for fitness and wellness brands, cooking, drinking coffee, and enjoying nature.
